Living Your Joy: How to Find the Time, the Money, and
the Energy to Turn Your Dream Into Your Life - from
Suzanne herself:
Take a minute to answer this mini-questionnaire.
True or false?
1. I am completely satisfied with the way I spend my
time every day. 2. I have more than enough time, and
the things I need in life to feel fulfilled.
3. I go to sleep at night feeling organized, calm, balanced,
relaxed.
4. I have plenty of energy, even in the mid-afternoon.
5. I know I'm making my mark in life, and will die having
made my contribution.
6. I make all the money I need from work that is my
life's mission.
7. My relationships are strong and loving; I'm surrounded
by people who understand me and support my dream.
8. I have a clear sense of my "mission in life" and
am actively pursuing it.
So, did you net out? More true, or more false? If the
balance tipped towards false, you might want to consider
what is stopping you from having the happiness and self-fulfillment
you certainly deserve.
This is how I see it. Every one of us on the planet
was born with a particular mission in life - a gift
that we are meant to give others. That gift might be
running a dry cleaning business, or it might be serving
in the Peace Corps. It might even be creating the perfect
donut. We have an obligation to fulfill that purpose
once we get clear on what it is.
- Do you spend your days doing work that's not 'you'...
but then find you're too tired to do the work that
is 'you' when you finally get home at night?
- Is the idea of quitting your job to pursue your
dream exciting, but you have no idea to do it?
- Do you chip away at your dream from time to time
but never really get going with it?
- If you see one more web site or ad that promises
'You can have it all!', do you think you'll scream?
In 1999, I published a little book called How Much
Joy Can You Stand? How to Push Past Your Fears and Create
Your Dreams. Since then it has been read by more than
75,000 people around the world, and currently has more
than 28 five-star reviews on Amazon.com. I've led workshops,
teleclasses, and seminars throughout the U.S. and Canada,
and moved thousands of people to find and pursue the
thing that brings them joy. In this work, I've found
the biggest obstacle people face in pursuing their dreams
is not related to know-how or even ambition. Their biggest
problem is finding the time, the money, and the energy
to make their dreams happen.
So...
- How do you pay your bills while transitioning out
of your day job?
- How do you juggle your dream work with the demands
of parenting and a full- time career?
- How do you set up your home office or studio so
you have maximum energy and efficiency?
These are the small, nitty-gritty details in life
that can hang a dream up...and I'm on a one-woman mission
to put an end to all that. Because you can have all
the motivation and inner wisdom in the world, but if
you can't figure out how to pay the bills or make time
for your dream, it simply ain't gonna happen.
For this reason I've spent the last year researching
exactly what it takes to make your dream possible on
a practical level. I've consulted with medical experts,
energy healers, nutritionists, feng shui gurus, organization
experts, and financial coaches. I've talked to average
readers who are making their dreams happen, and those
who are standing still. Out of this has come a new home
study e-course I call Living Your Joy: How to Find
the Time, the Money, and the Energy to Turn Your Dream
Into Your Life. It's a six-part, 24-lesson, instantly
downloadable program that gives you systematic, practical,
step-by-step instructions on how to make your dream
a part of your life. Each 3-10 page lesson gives you
practical tips, useful information, and hands-on exercises
that help you merge your dream and your life. And each
lesson is designed to remove obstacles like not having
enough money, time and energy. I've also added questionnaires,
helpful web links, great books, and anything else I
can think of that will grease the wheels of your dream.
Each lesson is delivered in a professionally designed,
PDF-format file that is beautiful to look at, easy to
read, and well worth printing out and saving. (You'll
need to have the free Adobe Acrobat Reader to be able
to view the lessons. It's a free download!)
In short, this is the user's manual you've been waiting
for that will finally tell you how to push past the
obstacles in life and make your dream real.
