I was relaxing into that dark warm watering knowingness of nothingness of all creation. It is all happening in the most beautiful exression of all our hearts desires. Creation was creating in a most relaxed, let go sort of way. I was creation. Creation was me. Nice dance.
That's it
Flame On!

I created an altar around a small tree in my backyard - it was a beautiful day. I had collected different colored pieces of felt material for each life stream. I had begun charging four large crystals earlier in the week for each cardinal point . I spread all of the felt pieces around and put two sets of tarot cards for each life stream - one that followed the tarot cards for the SDUA classes and one set for what I intuited on a collective level. When I put the candles in place a very large beautiful green katydid or grasshopper - not sure which - lit on one of the candles and didn't leave until I had to remorsefully remove her so I could light the candle. She immediately vanished! But I felt that that was so cool! I lit the candles and tuned in. Wow! The energy was so high and so sacred. I toned alot. I recited the invocation and then meditated, eyes open..... I've been high ever since with a feeling of relief, gratitude, strength and optimism for our tenuous future...

With so much love and gratitude,

Gratitude starts me off with this sharing. For approx 6 months, the room, the Altar itself, the book "Altars of Power and Grace", plus all the crystals, my Kwan Yin's and various physical symbols of sacredness collected, all of this waiting for me to start.
Yesterday I started, held up by allowing myself to move beyond all the delay tactics from - I've waited too long, am I doing it right, etc.
and it was fine, it was more than fine.
Trusting, allowing movement for self and thus to the collective was part of my experience & contribution to this magnificent opportunity time Ignition Point.
Blessings To You & Yours,
Judy
My circle was built around an Apple tree which was not what I had 'planned',but it was perfect. I had white pines behind me and tiny maples and oaks were present too. The wind was strong but at least it was not raining... which it has been doing the past 4-5 days! Off in the distance is a mountain named "Raven"... it is framed in one of the photos, I felt that the circle extended out to include the mountain energies too.
Since it was so windy, I had clear glass orbs to represent the conjunction planets... Purple for Jupiter , Aqua green for Neptunia and a clear Quartz sphere for Alpha Omega . The big singing crystal in the center of the tree was the one that I charged up during the day of the New Moon in Gemini.
For me, one of the best parts of this ceremony/ritual was taking all that we had learned of Star Genesis and creating the mandala out of objects that were personal reflections on the various streams. Since I am a visual/tactile person it was very important to finally anchor these teachings into my physical awareness... this was a great way to do that... a fabulous level of integration from the class work occurred for me simply in creating the circle.
I hung prayer flags that were given to me by a dear friend who had gotten them in Tibet when she went there on a pilgrimage. I cast the circle in cornmeal. For the middle portion of the ceremony, I did a Tarot reading using 2 decks... one - the Crowley deck for the Yang input, the other the Hearthsongs deck for the Yin input. I alternated decks as I pulled the cards.
As the middle time was coming to a close, I found myself toning, which I do not usually do... so this was a surprise. I started off rather high and sang one note 3 full times, then came down, repeated, came down again... and repeated that cycle 7 times till I was singing as low as was possible for me physically... I felt as if I was singing into the Earth. It felt really good.
During the ceremony a tiny yellow-green spider came and sat on my right thumb for a while. Weaver Medicine !! A Ladybug came and sat on the 2nd stream/Virgo teapot for awhile then headed to the center. I was afraid she might get hurt on the candle, so I moved her to the tree. After the ceremony was over I brought the candle from the center into my house, still lighted. I was about to go out
when the solitary female turkey who has been visiting the fields here walked right past my door and headed down the trail to where the altar was set up !! I could not get her picture from outside as I would have spooked her, so I ran to the end of the house and took it thru the window, so that is why the photo is funky.. reflections. :-) Still, it was quite a surprise to have Turkey
Medicine show up on foot !!!
This was an amazing experience for me... and a lot of emotions came up. I will write more about the Tarot reading later.
Thank you all for joining together in whatever way was possible... this was a great honour to be with you as we collectively launched the ignition point together !
with love,

Tarot Reading (Anonymous)
Hi Everyone,
I want to share with you some tiny insights from the Tarot reading that I pulled during the ritual. I did not really have a question other than asking for a "weather report" on this great opening that was being created.
When I did the reading I used two decks. I have never done this before, but I felt moved to do so at this time. I did a " Celtic cross " layout and I began with the Thoth (Crowley) deck and pulled a card from it to represent the masculine stream information. Then I pulled a card from the round deck called the Hearthsongs deck which was created by two women from New Zealand . (I'll have a link to their site at the end. I asked for their permission to quote extensively from their book and they have agreed) I then alternated, Thoth card, Hearthsong card, back and forth until the reading was laid out. As is my habit I then pull cards from the top of the deck(s) till I reach the first Major arcana card.... this is called the "Secret Helper" and is an indication of the helper forces that one can draw upon during the time in question. There is an image of the layout in the photos section of the archives. I can't go to great lengths on each card but I will give what I hope is a useful taste of what was being said by the Oracle of the Moment to all of us.
"Here we go:" (heheeee... couldn't resist !!)
- Heart in the past: 6 of Winds/Swords : "You feel as though you have been under a tremendous amount of pressure.... however, your instincts and wisdom have not deserted you - if you focus on trust , rather than on fear you will rise above the turmoil of the mind. You know something of the past has irrevocably changed, and you are ready to move on, yet the future is not clear....."
- Heart in the present: 2 of Flames/Wands : "... the synthesis of the logical mind and the intuitive mind, of linear thought and creative inspiration , of the scientist and the mystic.... just as astronomy and astrology were originally unified, so there exist ancient alliances beneath superficial dichotomies. The second Flame card urges you to approach your options with openness, you may benefit from hearing other people's points of view...."
- What lies in the conscious/logical/ Yang mind: Ace of Flames/Wands : ..."signifies the ripening of a creative process which has gestated within you. You have nourished and strengthened this dreamchild and now you are in the birth throes and the potential which has lived in you becomes visible....An awareness of Death is often present as a natural counterpoint to birth. Give voice to any grief and fears which may arise. This will help you move through the passage of personal evolution more easily...."
- What lies in the deep conscious/Yin mind : THE FOOL : ..." The Fool does not split possible and impossible; close and distant; can have and can't have. .. It is The Fool's eternal inquisitiveness and optimism which inspires the leaps of Faith into the Unknown. ... The Fool's experiences are incomprehensible to those who journey through life choosing the well-used routes, rationally and logically worked out years in advance.... The Fool represents the innocence of the child.... The Fool is reclaiming the inner child, responding to the circus of life with a fine blend of naivety, insight, humour and inquisitiveness. "
- What is wanting to be worked with/created: The Queen of cups/waves: "... the contained and abundantly overflowing qualities of the mature woman...becoming a vessel into which creativity may be poured, until it overflows... .she urges us to return to an honest expression of Feminine feeling. Many women have been socialized away from clear reactions and responses, becoming manipulative, berating, weak, cute and helpless and thus, disempowered. [The Queen of cups ] is the wise woman who knows she needs time to replenish herself through periods of retreat and re-evaluation. Here she finds a sanctuary in which it is safe to meet with her feelings and emotions... she cleanses herself and is restored and then her true nature becomes visible once more. ..."
- What is assisting in the current process: 5 of Swords/Winds : ..." some disturbance has swept through your life. The Eye of the storm has passed and you [may be] feeling buffeted and bedraggled. This card often signifies realizations which strip away illusions ; you are left with a stark reality. ... You look at life with crystal clear vision, amazed that you've been settling for smudgy focus as a safe option to keep friendships, businesses or contacts going...now everything has fallen apart- yet there is, through all the disjointedness, a sense of peacefulness and relief. This is a turning point for you REQUIRE (emphasis mine) some break with the past. See the new Sun rising. Daylight comes and showing what remains to be dealt with very clearly."
-How we are seen by others or what masks we wear for others: Prince of Swords/winds: ..." this is the image of someone with passionate beliefs- some might say dogmatic and pushy... a new convert ... with newness is an untested and idealistic rawness- the rough edges are still very evident. A wild beauty is also present in this card. [we] may come to know more of who we are by having a break with the past in order to have an experience of the new. However, at this stage, we may be off the beam and over zealous....usually, [we] only realize in retrospect the degree to which [we] have blundered over sacred and precious realms; at some stage on our path home, most of us trample on roses without realizing what is at our feet..."
-how we relate to the current environment around us: 4 of winds/swords : ... " the need to get away from it all...to somewhere offering peace and quiet, where no one can reach you or make demands upon you. ... although you may fear you are letting people down, your overriding need is for time alone. ...Use the space you have created to revitalize yourself and surrender yourself to a belief in your potential, beyond the limitations of fear and self-criticism" .
- hopes and fears: Queen of Flames/Wands : ..." [this card] depicts the two aspects of the [Queen of Flames/Wands] ...on the one hand, she has the quiet consistency of the weaver. Her inspiration is fueled by her dreams....[and on the other hand] she erupts with operatic intensity to sing herself into being. The Queen of Flames does not concern herself too much nor dissipate her creativity with the lack of receptivity from the world at large. This is the ancient goddess of Wisdom , a fire which has never been completely stamped out. Although so much ancient knowledge has been lost, you will rekindle the essence of her many expressions by weaving a creative web throughout each day and into your dreaming time...."
-outcome or that which wants to be released: Princess of Flames/wands: ..."Spiritual awakening. Innocence. ... making a path for oneself through the darkness.... recognition of one's own divine place on earth....events, which are perhaps crises, may serve as a wake up.... this time [of feeling separated] will create a vacuum into which will be drawn the people and experiences which are needed to draw one to a place of firmer footing."
The secret helpers:
-what is assisting us from the Yang stream of the Cosmos: The Aeon: bringing balance and creativity into both personal and professional spheres of activity. Learning to suspend judging others and learning to use our own inner guidance systems and good judgment to help support and maintain our personal and professional lives. Looking at things from the perspective of the whole... seeing the big picture in all things.
-what is assisting us from the Yin stream of the Cosmos: The Hanged One: Allowing oneself to see things from radically new perspectives. The letting go of ego identifications and merging for awhile into the great cosmic order of things. Letting go of false beliefs, thoughts and ideas that no longer serve. Allowing ourselves to become suspended in a new reality. A marked change in the perspective about the choices we make. Learning to love and live with our imperfections. ..and learning to stop on occasion to try and see things differently. .. to learn to relax in the midst of whatever drama is around us.
So that was "our" reading for these times.
Thank you for sharing "our" reading! What power. The layout you shared is such a blessing and I look forward to sitting inside each and seeping in the depth and value.
And, being a babe of New Zealand (my land of birth), I absolutely love the vision and creations that pour through the Kiwi soul. Much gratitude.
After reading your e-mail, I thought I'd share the card I pulled for the Ignition Point Ritual. I just happened to purchase "The Goddess Oracle" deck by Amy Sophia Marashinsky on Saturday and it felt right to start the ritual with her guidance. The card I pulled was the goddess Eurynome (pronounced you-reh'no-may) who (within this deck) represents Ecstasy. Although I didn't get permission, I think it is ok to share the words she wrote. Hope I'm not making that up. This is what is written:
"Eurynome dances into your life to tell you it is time for ecstasy. Ecstasy is here for you in all its fullness, exuberance and rapture. How can you give yourself ecstasy, that deeply nourishing intensely joyful place? One way is by healing the wounded parts of yourself. Your wounded parts take up emotional space within you. Once healed, the space they previously occupied becomes available for ecstasy. The more space within, the more room for ecstasy. Another road to ecstasy is to open to it. To give yourself permission to call it in, feel it, and revel in it. For those of us who have experienced little joy in our lives, the conscious decision to court, seduce and entice ecstasy ensures it will come. Eurynome says that when you make the decision to dance with ecstasy, all life challenges you with the opportunities to facilitate that dance."
Many many blessings to you all as we dance into the age of Aquarius.
Warmly ~ Deirdre
